Why we exist
The expertise that runs an industry mostly lives in people’s heads, not in its software. Off-the-shelf tools get a workflow part of the way; the part that matters — the judgment, the edge cases, the way the work is really done — never makes it in. That gap costs the people on the wrong side of it.
A8C exists to close it: vertical software built with the operators who hold the expertise, shipped by a system instead of a headcount. Asymmetric by design.
Who runs it
A8C is run by Zain Pasha, with an internal agent OS doing the execution. Nearly a decade at Meta as a product manager (Facebook App Ads measurement, then Trust & Safety), before that the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative and a sports-technology company named No. 2 on Fast Company’s 2015 Most Innovative Companies in Sports. What we’re not

- No LPs, no outside capital, no obligation to deploy on anyone else's timeline. That means full alignment with what we build, and decisions made on the merits rather than the fund clock.
- Not an accelerator.
- No cohorts. No demo days. No twelve-week programs. We pick what to build carefully and build it for real.
- Not a dev shop.
- We aren't renting out engineers by the hour. We co-build and we advise with skin in the outcome — the agent OS is the leverage, not a billable team.
